Truck photos

Ha ha. Talking about my interest in trucks photographing. Actually, I stated admiring trucks since I in primary two. You know lah kids kan admire everything. However, I also don't know why until know I admire those beast. I think I can memorise the engine sound of every truck. From Mercedes, Volvo to Hino and Isuzu.

My digital camera is quite helpful in truck photography. Currently I have hundreds photos of trucks that I snapped around Brunei roads. All my works are posted at www.truck-photos.net .Just have a view of the trucks from Brunei. All the Brunei photos on the web is my job.

p/s: When I am retired later-later I plan to set up a trucking company ha ha. Currently still under planning.

Its CS time

Orang bermain ia burn game pulang
Ya itu dia kawan-kawanku sedang beraksi

On 26 June 2008 I and 6 other friends play Counter Strike (CS) at Awg.Haziq house (tuan rumah for the day). Actually, I myself never play CS before. Luckily, the controls are same as the Navy Seals so its not hard to control it. Its worth for me to 'buy' the costly gun at the time I played as I able to 'kill' my friend with the gun ha ha. I am not sure who I kill at the time.

P/s: siok jua main CS ani. He he. Test akal jua not just bang bang and bang to our opponent. It test our mental, sight and everything lah.

On a sunny and hot afternoon of Friday the 13th June 2008. The St.Jame's Gathering Society of Class 2005 held at gathering for Tiffany and Odelia who will 'fly' to OZ to continue their studies abroad. Alhamdullilah, most of them are able to come although some not able due to some circumstances. Those photos shown above are taken during the gathering

Also I Miss My SJS life

Spending 4 years in St.Jame's School (SJS) is quite enjoying. 4 years is a long time. Just imagine if we are married and have child. Maybe the child will be 4 years old ha ha. I studied at St.Jame's from 2001-2005. Why I enjoy at St.Jame's:-

  1. As SJS is at the heart of KB town the fire appliances from KB Station will patrol our school everyday at 9-10am. This make me easier to see fire appliances everyday (same as my ex School-St.Michael).
  2. My classmates are friendly. Haha especially the girls and boys. Embarassed to name them.
  3. The teachers are serious but friendly.
  4. Our intake is the BEST intake among all other intake in SJS.
  5. I also admire someone in SJS. Ha ha true story. But shy to tell her ha ha
  6. Here is my first time 'helping' the fire service to chop trees. (2005 case)
  7. I and friends write letter to the Principal regarding the fire drill in 2003. However, the 1st fire drill which involved the fire trucks was hel only in 2006 (after we lft the school).
  8. When there are large scale function at KBRC we will involved. (quite enjoy and miss the day).
  9. A friend name Sricanth, Brian and Kin introduced the 'Racun Tikus' and 'Tikus Racun' theory to the form 3Q class in 2003. Actually, they sneer a teacher at that time.
  10. Also same as at SMSA. I and Khiari nearly been complained to the discipline master in 2003 regarding notice board issue. Luckily, Ms.Ovilie back-up us. Quite enjoy yhe day where we posted the LXG psoter at the 3Q notice board. ha ha.

We should appreciate them

A refuse compactor operated by Tutong District Municipal Board

According to functionalist theory (sociology) every occupation has its own function in the society. So, same with the rubbish collector worker from the Municipal Board/ District Office. Locally known as Bandaran workers.

We should praise them for their effort to keep our country clean and tidy. If not because of them we will live in a dirty and stinky surrounding. Anywhere, congrats o them for keep Brunei clean. I hope we will be cooperate with them to keep our country clean.

In line with the motto: "Don't litter but we must throw rubbish to the bin"

I miss my school years...

Hmm, schooling seem bored but when the school time years is over its very very very bored.

Why school is very fun:
  1. Because I can see my secret admirer every day (ha ha. She unofficially increase my spirit to pass my A level).
  2. I and friends can sneer MPPs and post everything we want at the notice board (quite fun).
  3. Its quite tiring carrying school bag of several kilos but it is an exercise for me who wants to be a firefighter. This unofficial exercise decrease my weight during my school years.
  4. SMSA teachers is quite motivated to teach us. I respect them a lot.

Just Testing...

Life as a photographer

Nowadays, many people like to take photos. No matter where, when or anything. The advance of technology had made photograhpy easier than before. Now, cameraphones are available as chepa as $100. Compare to before, where cameraphones are $300 plus. Also, before only those afforable have the SLR cameras, but nowadays as the digital cameras become less in price many people opted t buy it and dumped their film type camera.

My photography hobby start in 2004 before that I just 'playing' camera for fun. My first camera is a Nikon Film Point And Shoot Camera. At that time I just snapping the selected fire station phots for fun. However, as time gose by I stared to make photography as a serious matter. Until 2007 I still rely with my Nikon Film camera for photography. I started to concentrate on emergency vehicle photography which is quite challenging.

When I receive my 6 pixPanasonic DMC FX10 Digial Camera. The spirit of emergency vehicle chasing is roaring. The Intelligent Mode is helpful for me to snap moving emergency vehicle. There is a time somewhere in May 2008 where highway patrolmen stopped me at te highway for snapping their patrol car.

However, the incident didn't stop me to snap ER vehicles photos but it encourage me to snap more and more photos of ER photos.

This is in line with my motto when photographing "What I Shoot Today Is History For Tommorrow".
